“Unknown storyteller sparks decade of celebrated films and books, incognito” ...

READ ABOUT FORREST GUMP, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, AMELIE, THE ROYAL TENEBAUMS and 100 others. Embedded codes tell all ...

By fortune, work and chance I passed on to already established writers and producers a lifetime of stories. My 100 storylines became 100 films and books in the major markets. I gave stories to the industry “toppers,” connected to them through providence. How it came to pass is what I hope to convey. Starts with my history and travels. Then I meet the right people and tell them stories. A prolific amount, 100 are now films and books. The critics noticed. Here’s what happened ...

... all the important tags I wanted to get “through” to production, did.

The story begins ...

Born November 14, 1950, the cusp of the 20th century, at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. An educated family, all grandparents had been to college. Mostly they studied medicine or English and became M.D.s and teachers. Dad finished med school at MCV when he was 22. Smart cookie. He had six uncles who were M.D.s. Mom got a BA in chemistry and Emily a master’s in English. M.D.s at the time relied a good bit on bedside manner, CAT scans weren’t around. So the conversation level was pretty high. Lots of stories. Mom, Dad, sister Emily and I would play doubles in the afternoon. On some weekends we went out to restaurants that had live lobster tanks. Times were good.
